Covid-19 and Your Ranch House Wedding

Updated: Aug 14, 2020

The realities of the COVID-19 pandemic have shaken the wedding planning industry. The Center for Disease Control still encourages social distancing, and many venues have minimized gatherings to less than 25 people. However, the Ranch House is adapting to these realities and is prepared to meet the needs of the wedding you originally envisioned.

We have taken vital steps to ensure the safety of your guests:

  • Daily staff symptom and temperature check;

  • Staff will wear gloves and masks at all times;

  • There are multiple sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant;

  • Tables are set up to keep parties at safe distances;

  • Tables can hold as many guests as you would like, so long as the guest count is determined beforehand - max 180 guests.

The Ranch House’s lush garden and beautiful outdoor environment is conducive with guidelines set forth by Ventura County for virus protection. You can dine intimately, 6 feet from other guests, host your wedding with the exclusivity of the entire restaurant, or entertain your smaller party in one of our specified dining spaces.

Tracking the virus should have no place in planning your wedding. We are here to offer contingency plans, back up holds, and opportunities where you thought there would be none. We understand the importance of this moment in your life, and we would be happy to take your hand and guide you through the process.

Kindest Regards,

The Ranch House Team
